Pickles is a fun word to say and they are a real fun thing to make. In this workshop you will learn how to make pickles in 2 different ways. You will learn how to make fresh refrigerator pickles, and shelf stable vinegar brined pickles that will be hot water bath canned.
Pickling is one of my favorite workshops. This workshop will begin with an introductory talk and tasting and we will dive into all of the secrets on how to get the right texture and flavor in your pickles. All of my recipes are simple and delicious and I will teach you how to keep it safe and yummy. We will cover topics of PH and botulism and flavor combinations. Then we head into the kitchen to begin creating the magic.
