In this workshop we will cover all you need to know how to make delicious marmalades and to preserve it safely. We will start with an introductory talk covering the topics of hot water bath canning and food safety. We will experience how to make delicious marmalades that have a perfect balance of sweet and tart and sour. I will share my secrets to make delicious marmalades and experiment with recipes in combining different citrus and spices to create your own marmalades. It is sure to be fun and informative! We will make a marmalade with lemons, oranges and grapefruits and cover different flavor combining options. We will make a delicious marmalade and you will go home with 1 jar. YUM! This workshop is held from 10a-12 ish and includes a delicious snack.
